I'm sure all these people who run businesses in Old Orchard Maine must be furious with this incredibly stupid senator. It was bad enough with Trump... and now this??? That senator should be run out of town for screwing everything up with relationships between two countries that have been nurtured for decades. We loved being there. The trust is now gone. As a Canadian I will probably never cross that border again!
The whole question of Canadian sovernity is absolutely abhorrent to me. Canada deserves an apology from the US government on that issue as well as many others. I will never return to the US over this sovernity issue. Canada strong! 🇨🇦
The letter is laughable as is this senator. It's equally arrogant and ignorant. I have to admit, we did have a Maine vacation planned for this summer. We've been before and really enjoyed ourselves. I cancelled the trip for July and booked in Nova Scotia. We had a fantastic time in NS. I live near the Canada/US border and I don't think I'll ever cross that line again. There is no need to support the US economy.
I vacationed in Maine for years because we are neighbors. You don't understand the wrath of a pissed off Canadian. I will now boycott anything and everything American until you get rid of the orange skin tag.
